Advanced Mentor in Social, Emotional and Mental Health
A national course to recognise advanced knowledge and skills for school mentors
You have gained a large amount of respect in your role, really making the difference to some very vulnerable young people and we want to help you gain recognition for the work you do.

Extending on from our Practitioner Mentor courses, which train staff to assess and deliver interventions, the Advanced Mentor course helps experienced professionals to explore the underlying causes of the conditions they work with.

The Advanced Mentor for Social, Emotional and Mental Health course combines monthly online sessions, follow-up homework with self-studied units to gain the certificate recognising your higher skills in this area. The assignment is currently being registered as a Level 4 qualification.
